I was very fortunate to have a loving, supportive family who still believe I can do anything! I treasure those times, they have made me who I am today. We often start with enthusiasm and then realise it is not really for us and that there are more fun and interesting things to do. Time is too precious to spend doing something we are not enjoying or which is not being productive.
I very much like the digital faces you have painted, these characters have their stories in their faces. (The stories may not be theirs but we can imagine they are).
I know someone who looks like Joan, she suffers pain but is a very nice lady. I'm glad you have given her a warm coat to keep her warm. Lenny is lovely with her pretty blond hair and lovely eyes and I like her pink eye-shadow. Mike doesn't look very confident but maybe he is just tired. I love them all. Mary's lips!!! I also like the flowery background you have made for them and it is especially effective when we see just their faces.
Great blogpost!sheila 77https://www.blogger.com/profile/00698767195924308373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25107798.post-28640363367545981992016-09-18T13:58:40.350-07:002016-09-18T13:58:40.350-07:00Hi kindred..these are all wonderful pieces..beauti...Hi kindred..these are all wonderful pieces..beautiful souls..colorful and expressive ! My...I think we may have grown up in the same home. My mother was a hugger, a kind, thoughtful, hard working, fun loving, nature loving, animal loving, sharing kind of person. My father, the head of household in those days, was strict but fair, kind and loving and honest to a fault. (like he wouldn't let me take a pencil from his office because it didn't belong to me) He would choose to have lunch with the janitor staff and learn from them and share with them as opposed to the "teacher's lunchroom" Though he was a full professor, he treated and thought of everyone as his equal and loved to start a conversation with "so, what is your philosophy of life?" He taught us to think, not take things for granted and to learn and keep learning no matter how old we are. Most of these things I learned about them by observing them ... hopefully I have grown up to emulate their wonderful values and kind hearts. This was a lovely post ... and yes, we are all aware of how hate can be taught just by following our national politics ... so sad. Thanks Giggles for reminding me how lucky I have been.

Andrea @ From the solAndrea @ From The Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00657271089899579261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25107798.post-43591553596555398912016-09-17T04:49:31.038-07:002016-09-17T04:49:31.038-07:00It is wonderful to have loving and empathetic pare...It is wonderful to have loving and empathetic parents.
