Love the one with the curly hair, and the one with the glasses on her head... and the contortionist! Hilarious. You are not only visually talented, but you are so wise with your words as well. It's always such a treat to visit here, my friend. I love your bold colours (more than the pastel ones) and i love that you experiment so much with colour. But definitely not a blue red-that would never have worked. I love those birds too - I have to think about what to do with them.

I am never confident about my artistic direction - I do have a sense of where I am going but not really confident. I know I like color and contrast - I like my paintings to feel alive.

Love all your color experiments. I really believe we all have "soul" colors - orange is definitely one of mine. There are some colors that I can't seem to work with at all. You have such a wonderful, quirky style. We don't always have to go forward - sometimes sideways is a good direction. Sometimes even backwards. I love it all and its fun to see how styles evolve - which was the piece that started us on a new tangent? Color is so interesting in how it makes us feel, how it interacts and converses with its neighbor colors and how it can totally change the meaning of a painting with the colors you choose. I don't remember my dreams, but my ideas will drift in during the day - so I keep a book to write them down so they don't leave as fast as they came. Sorry I missed last week. I love both your styles-neither of which I'd be able to do. And of course, I too LOVE lots of vibrant colors! I don't tend to worry or think so much as to where I want my art to go. There may be an idea but if it isn't flowing as I create I know it won't flow in the finished piece either. After many years I have become much more relaxed in my approach.
