all around the park sighed in frustration as this banner floated around
the sky above the park right before Mumford and Sons setting a new
standard in their girlfriends eyes..... I apologized to my wife... we
had a chuckle. Go get him, Natalie Helm!

Last Wednesday the goddesses took me out for an early Birthday dinner!!
Dream goddess made me this beautiful cake that was even yummier than it looked!!

This is six days before I turned 57.
It's fun to have a photo commemorating my age.
With my fat staving off the wrinkles....phew....
Actually I softened the light with a photo process
fooled yah!
Then I painted this digital with imaginary pink hair.
I'd probably have pink hair if I was thirty years younger,

I'd have to try these colors too, cuz I'm fun like that!!
In my imagination they looked and tasted like this!
In actuality they were delectable chocolate cupcakes
stuffed with reeses peanut butter cups,
topped with crumbled peanut butter cups on the icing!!

I was treated like a goddess, but to be honest I am
treated like one most days!!
There were many fun surprises that day, flowers left on my step,
some loose, some in a planter, a cool pink pedestal dish,
a britto spoon holder and a lipstick!
I LOVED IT ALL!!!

A week ago I started cleaning out drawers in my en-suite bathroom
and hadn't quite finished. I've been fighting a head cold.

my large bathroom from top to bottom. Silly as this seems to
some, It was a total surprise and more than thrilling for me!
I love a clean house but find it difficult with my bad hip.

Sherrie, such a fabulous post with all sorts of wonderful photos. First, that was some proposal, wasn't it, in front of all those people. One would have to be sure the answer was "yes" to do that!
Happy belated birthday! Cupcakes, hm-m. I love them myself. My son always wanted an iced angel food cake. I used to buy the cake at the grocery store and throw on some chocolate icing. Voila! Birthday cake! (I hope your cold has gone by now.) The cleaning of the bathroom was one powerful BD gift! Oh, to receive a housecleaning, that would be heaven.

Happy Birthday Sherrie, my little one turned 2 yesterday and I turned 38 on the 18th, so we are all quite close with our Birthdays. I love those party shoes, oh such fun and character here as always! Happy birthday!! You definitely don't look 57 even if you did 'soften the light' on the photo!! I love the photo-shopped images with the wild coloured hair! I do love to hear about wild romantic gestures and wonderfully inventive ways of proposing and I guess nowadays every one gets it filmed for posterity (or You Tube!)

I smirked when I read your comment about wanting pink hair. I've been wanting to pierce one of my ears with a diamond stud, because I think they look very artsy. However, my two daughters said I would look as if I was trying to look young, and a close friend whom I work with said I was much to classy for something like that. LOL! I hope you find a time to have pink hair NOW. I saw and tried some hair "chalk" (washed right out) and had some green hair for a day last trip to visit my kids in Portland. Was with my 20 yr old gran daughter while she shopped, I "painted/chalked my hair"! Too fun. Happy birthday! You look stunning! If, when the wrinkles come just see it as progess in a life well lived. That's my excuse!
