One thing about my goddess friends of quarter a century
we ALL LOVE color!!
Quiet squeals and giggles ensue
realizing we ALL wore black!
Of course we accessorized
with punches of pink, orange and white!
Unbelievable how connected our little group is!

This is the card I made for Beardo on the 5th!
He loved it, and of course there was piles
of mush inside cause I love him like my own!!
Last week I was putting away clothes

and changing my bed with the tv on for company.
Honey boo boo was on, our sad to admit
silly guilty pleasure.
Instead of bellowing from my room
to the kitchen downstairs,
to the kitchen downstairs,
I called Cupcakes cell from our land line!
Or so I thought!
I chimed "Honey Boo boos on!"
She said " pardon!"
Again I chimed,"Honey boo boo's on!"
thinking she'd be excited!
The voice at the other end who was not my Cupcake
said," I DON'T GET IT!"
said," I DON'T GET IT!"
Mortified.......I " stuttered a few A's and hung up
hoping the girl on the other end didn't recognize my voice!!
With my OLAD.......(old lady attention deficit.)
I had dialed my Cupcakes place of business that she manages,
instead of our kitchen downstairs......Oops my bad!!!

The perplexed girl on the other end sounded just like Cupcake...
the worst part was.....I had to TELL Cupcake............bites nails!!
I secretly told Beardo first , he howled, then insisted I had to tell her!
Cupcake was not impressed by my mistake,
but she too laughed pretty hard!

What fun! Your cards are great. I love the one for Beardo,I bet he was pleased! My fav of the birds is the orangey cup with green liquid. That is too funny about her saying "I don't get it!" Maybe she thought something was cooking?? "ON"? Have a great week.

So glad you have such good girlfriend time, and know you know to cherish every minute of it., I love the guitar! My DH can be heard often playing his and singing in his wonderful deep voice! I'm so lucky to have that still! Happy week!

Thanks for making me laugh, needed it, we are still having aftershocks but all is well, just very twitchy. Great how you and your friends are connected. My art friend Shelly and I are the same, end up wearing the same colours, we look at each other and crack up. Love the cup, both variations.

As much as I love color I wear black and grey a lot of the time. Maybe because I surround myself with so much color in the studio.

Your goddesses are absolutely lovely and gorgeous...every single one of them! 25 years...wow what a gift to all of you. I wondered if wearing black was a tradition because everyone looks so good in it! And the gift card...WOW is that nice! How thoughtful of you to give it because she is a birdwatcher. When one does something like this, you really know it is a true friend, which of course I am sure they know of you anyway. OMG...Honeybooboo. When I saw her on Ellen and Ellen asked her "how do you get so hyped and she said my mom gives me two energy drinks in a bottle to drink" I had to go off her cuz of the mom. How come that is legal to drug your kid to be funny?

I would totally do something like that - I once sent a slightly sexy text to Mr Mac's mother (not paying attention when I typed in Mac!) Luckily she thought is was funny + had dined out on the story for years now! Have a great weekend x

Up in the middle of a 'can't sleep night and you made me laugh with your funny senior moment. Never heard of Honey Boo Boo, but with a name like that she must be good.
