Beardo from getting any sound sleep. The remedies of old didn't work. All the
while we were sick, good things continued to happen. Cupcake won a couple
of wonderful restaurant gift certificates, and got two really nice pieces of
clothing in the mail to survey. I had two nice conversations with friends and family.
little things to be grateful for. Especially when you live in such a rich
country as Canada.
It's often difficult to tune out the nasty news and sad events but there is always
something equally of good value to focus on! Lately, those days where the
news and coughing get me down I change my focus..... it seems to help.
Along with a marathon of Jane the Virgin....on Netflix...what a quirky show that is!!
Other than art what have you been focused on lately?
I missed everyone the last few weeks and will try and catch up on blog
reading this weekend!! I pray none of you get the nasty virus we just had!!

So sorry to hear ya'll were sick, but glad you're on the mend. I've never seen a Fall snow, I hear it's quite beautiful though. New page theme and header or am I going crazy? lol
Sorry to hear you've been sick! I can sympathize, I have this horrible lingering cough keeping me up at night even though I haven't felt sick for two weeks! You took such a great attitude with it all, I love all the things you found to be grateful for! Happy PPF!

What a wonderful colourful paintings. Its snowing, we are starting summer in New Zealand and I picked my first roses out of the garden, opposite worlds. Hope you feel better soon.

Hello Giggles. So sorry to hear you have been ill and hope you are recovering now. Hopefully that nasty bug will not bother you again.
I love your new girls, love their fancy costumes and funky hair colours. I especially like the last ones, the one in the middle looks as if she has had fun knitting her own cardigan, and she has purple socks too.
I hope you're feeling better. This time of year there are so many bugs around it's hard to avoid catching one. Those snow photos are great and you're right it is hard to focus when there seems to be so much bad stuff going on. An attitude of gratitude is good to have, though it's not always easy to maintain.
First of all- I LOVE your new header!!! So colorful, vibrant and positive. Sorry to hear you have been so ill. Didn't you have this same virus not too long ago? I hope you all got a good dose of strong medicine and rest to keep it away for good this time. Wonderful art as always. But the snow? I don't want it. It suddenly turned cold here yesterday so my extended summer has finally gone... wishing you well and happy PPF!

Sorry about the illness. . . I caught something too (of course I left FL and warmth) as I used to do when I lived in IL. However, it didn't last long. Since I have been taking a pro-biotic, Nothing has lingered very long nor do I often get sick. I love all the wonderful painted people. Sn*w! Really? Ugh. Blessings, Janet
