Wise Advice

Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Well today has not started well….but I have faith things will turn around. I went to drive the kids to work, which I do only on Mondays. My car would not even turn over….blah…..humbug. So they both ran for the bus. Bryan was only twenty minutes late and Pepper would be early, except that she was to do paper work at two stores and couldn’t make it to one. Now I have to wait for a jump start….hopefully that’s what it is. I just got a new battery March of 2005 so it’s seems a bit early. With the cold patch and all, it’s not surprising if that’s what's wrong.

Tomorrow Pepper and I have a hair appointment we booked two months ago, it’s forty minutes from home. So I need to get my car fixed. Anyway most of my decorating is done….I think I might bake until I get a battery boost. Need to Christmas shop. Have not one thing for Pepper yet, everything is coming too fast now. Goddess nights, Party invites….three on one day….darn it….I would love to attend them all…. Good day to all of us!

Thank you ladies….my car is worse off than expected…on a positive note, everyone has come through for me….so I know I have love in my life…even though there are many struggles! It will all work out as it’s suppose to! I may even learn something along the way!

Sherrie ... sorry to hear, in your last comment, that the car is worse off - but, your perspective and grace about it is lovely. Dear one, what a great allegory about the wolves - terrific message. Yes, this season is coming upon us at an alarming rate!! So much to do, so little time .... but as you said, it will all work out as it's suppose to. Thinking good thought and friendly wishes to you sweetie. Much love & peace, JP

Amen to the story of Two Wolves. It is such a basic truth. It is the choice we make. We are the ones who choose who we are. No one else.

I haven't been doing much bloging lately. Been very busy with the 9for9 swap. It's done now so maybe I can socialize a bit more now.
