We celebrated our nature goddess Connie, with an artistic cake made by Laura. This delectable Angel food was served with semi frozen blackberries picked this year! Isn't it stunning! I heard gasps when she unveiled this masterpiece!
Four of the six of us, now own vintage cake holders to tote our cakes around. It may seem lame to some, be it excites us! Especially when they are so hard to find!
Janice is our youngest goddess at fifteen years my junior!! Oh to be young again!!!! Not really!

I didn’t capture as many useable pictures as I might have liked to! Some of the goddesses were acting more like impish sprites, than divine beings! So I settled to post the least embarrassing picture which just happens to have me in it! Janice sat like a polite little goddess, and didn’t make faces at the camera lady….ME,...... like some .....who will remain nameless did!
The necklace and bracelet I made for Connies Birthday. She mentioned a while back that she's been wearing more pink lately!
We had a lovely catch up chat, food was delicious, but the mood was a bit off. We missed our fairy goddess! She was in our hearts and on our minds struggling with some health issues.

Last nights full moon! Isn't it spectacular!
The night ended a tad earlier than normal, the full moon led the way home, where I continued my night peering in on the bloglandia ball gowns. So many creative women with blogs. We are women hear us roar, in numbers too big to ignore. A deviation from a very vintage Helen Reddy song, which may be more relevant now than ever before!
Finally a venue where more woman can have a voice!

Looks delicious. Glad you had a great time.
Just catching up on all of your recent posts. I loved seeing your vintage cake holder in person and what was in it....YUMMY. So glad you are having fun going and doing with all of your friends. Nicci's art and the art festival looks cool! BTW Your gown was one of the most spectacular at the ball.

Oh my gosh, I gazed at that moon for along time last night. It was so brilliantly bright!

Cake looks delish! Do you know where to find a vintage cake holder? Dave's daughter would love one.
Beautiful jewlery, I'm sure she was thrilled.

It is too funny to read your helen Reddy lyrics, I am writing a post for S.S. and they would be perfect! But I stole an idea from you once, so I WON'T repeat that! haha
I see I have some catch-up reading to do here, on to the next post....
