I love the winter where I live
Rainy days, and nights
I love the cozy evenings
Gleaming Christmas lights
I love snuggling under blankets
Around the flickering fire
Watching romantic movies
Or Comedies of my desire
I like the power outages
After wind has swept the streets
Serene Moments of darkness
Hearing my heart beats
I love compulsory conversations
Replacing bustle, and sound
Cards and board games
candles lit all around
I love those rare occasions
White blankets all the trees
Cleaning up the city
With a snowy breeze
I enjoy hibernating
In a home with hearth
Fixing that special meal
Validating the families worth
I love winter coats to bundle in
Wind against my face
Luxury of a loving home
My peaceful winter place.
