Check out all the wonderful artists on paint party Friday!
I have missed a few, still I've been painting quite a bit.
Finally a painting dear daughter loved and asked me not to change a thing!!

I painted out the stems which I despised. Funny how you start one way and end another. This painting is nothing of how I originally imagined it!
Below is " My little Fairy"
It's full of texture because I painted over a canvas (see here)

I was so disappointed in!
My daughter hates it, that's a swear word in our house too!! It creeps her out so much she picked it up and removed it from sight! I on the other hand love her but have agreed to change the eyes to see if that makes a difference! The eyes are that shape because there is a small chunk of texture that I formed the eye around! Oh well you win some and you lose some.... Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to my American friends, being Canadian we celebrate in October!

Lovely whimsical acrylics. Great colour and pattern.
Love your whimsical and colorful paintings! Too fun!
Oh I love her eyes, they go well with her. In fact your work is always awesome. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy PPF!
I would love a duvet cover with this pattern on it... would be so beautiful... this is really special and I have had a great time visiting and looking around your wonderful blog xx
I hate to disagree with your daughter, but I LOVE your little fairy--this is the way she is--that's what I love!!
And your other painting-love, love, love!
If you could turn the purple painting into fabric, I would cover a comfy armchair with it! It would be so wonderful to cur up in and read. Hmmmmm.....textile designer, artist, writer...you are indeed a woman of many talents!
The little fairy is beautiful!!
Your family seems amazingly critical... I LOVE the first painting and I think there are place that will take a design and make it into fabric but where I don't know. Might be worth looking into - I would make a great duvet cover!
Ans the other two pieces are wonderful as well - I think her eyes give her character!
Love your whimsical paintings ~ They are wonderful! ~ thanks, namaste, Carol (Share the Creative Journey) Happy PPF ^_^
This is great, total explosion of color. I'm glad your daughter likes it, although, I am not sure sheets that bright would let you get much sleep. They'd look great, though.
