Sunday Scribblings " The End"

Enhanced chip and dip plate and bowl.
Colors are clearer and more even in person.
The plate was done for a couple who love this color combination of red, orange, and yellow. They prefer modern or vintage styles... thankfully they appreciate art and color too!
Sunday Scribblings prompt is " The End" which does seem perfect for this week!
Summer 2007
Two weddings, a funeral
A kitchen painted apple green
Cupboards midnight black
Art for weddings
Poetry for a funeral
A ladies stag,
dinner with bloggers stopping by
A few days at the beach
Birthday celebrations galore
Mine and many more
An art show
Open mike nights
Heat too hard to endure
Flowers unkempt
Like never before
Running in and out the door
Exhausted, pooped, tired
Beyond imagining
Finally, the summer
Ends!

September is always a new start to my year. I have already started cleaning a few cupboards. Unfortunately my energy often wanes so I must budget my tasks sparingly! Too many things have been left undone and must be tackled this month....wish me luck!

You have such a beautiful way with words. I so love Septembers. I hope you get all your "chores" done. I really suck at chores. Really suck at should dos.

That colour combination is very striking. Very artistically done.

This was a busy summer, wasn't it? On top of the heat that sapped my energy, I too feel like there is only more to do!
Good luck with all your projects!

Came over from Sunday Scribblings - what a great post! I love the bowl and completely related to the long linst of things I did and the even longer list of things I still need to do!

Did you paint the platter and bowl?
The summer heat zaps my energy too. I know what you mean about saving some tasks for September.

Goood Lucky Buddy! There isn't ever enough time OR energy to complete all that is running through our revved brains! LOVE the colors on the dip set, wish I had a chip right now. Loved Kai's hair, now why didn't I get that hair style? Speaking of which, got a short one yesterday that is making me crazy today. OH Well, it grows
love your poetry Sher! xoxo
