Sunday Scribblings
Wearing a skirt in his class
Assured you’d excel
He ogled the females
Not a student dared to tell
Cadence had the feeling
That screamed “NO NO”
She avoided his gaze
With intuition in tow
Her boyfriend’s sister
He decided to date
Even though ensconced
In a married state
His wife with child
Kept under wrap
A Christian teacher
He managed to entrap
He fed her untruths
Cultivated her fall
Used intelligence
To capture it all
A myriad of ways
Chained to his fraud
He accused her of deceit
Then questioned her god
Cadence was peeved
To see the sister a wreck
She switched from his class
She’d lost all respect
Affair carried on months
struggling back and forth
Soon she dropped the man
when she found her worth
A year or so later
He was booted from the school
Something scandalous happened
He broke a golden rule!
