Yellow scarf

My daughter wanted a yellow scarf so I worked on this for a few nights. I copied the length and width of her plain black scarf , and crocheted a double stitch, adding a few stitches to graduate it out at the ends. I've never been one fixated on a pattern, this was pretty straight forward. It's very long, as you can see I doubled it up for the photo! After I was finished I put it in the dryer on fluff, in hopes the little yellow hairs would shed into the lint trap instead of her black coat. Today 's the test, she either enjoys the fuzzy little animal of a scarf, or comes home looking like a bumble bee!

Does anyone have a solution to getting control of the hairs shedding from the wool?

That is such a bright and sunny yellow, even I like it. And I'm not usually a fan of yellow in clothing, but if you can wear it, you have my envy. I wish I could!

So, what happened!

Mary and Sandee, she loved her new scarf, and was bee free! For all those who asked, fluffing it in the dryer to remove the excess fiber hairs worked. Thanks for asking!!
