Thirteen reasons why having I like having birthdays!!!
1 My friends are stuck making time for me, but I really like them so it’s good!
2 Everyone makes you feel special even when you have a big mouth and may have abruptly said something to make them feel bad during the year!
3With each passing year I become wiser, despite the lurking halo waiting on the other side!
4 You get good stuff, like cake, gifts and dinner out!
5 Because as I age I can blame all the crazy things I do on being old
6 Because no one is shocked when an old person makes wind….with noise……
7 I am one year closer to a full senior’s discount
8 Things just aren’t as disappointing as they are when you’re young! Boobs go south, get over it!
9 Just like a dog, a small bone can make you happy, like waking up without an ache!!
Being regular, a day without a hot flash!
10 The older I get the less embarrassed I feel! The more embarrassed I make others feel!
11 I’m more grateful for the simplest things, like a fan!
12 You get flowers
13 It's an assurance I’m not dead!
