Happy Paint party Friday! I'm thrilled to say I made some positive headway this week as far as my chairs go. Four have been primed and painted a first coat. Three have artwork on them with only one left to go. A few more coats of varnish are needed.
Two need paint touch ups, or should I say change ups! That's the unfortunate part about being self taught artist...sometimes it's hit and miss. My work often needs tweaking until I'm satisfied. Sometimes it doesn't hit the mark and gets discarded!
Knowing I have to live with these chairs makes me slightly more critical, forcing me to make many changes along the way. Still not satisfied with the first chair I'm redoing the legs yet again! I've decided I prefer plainer chair legs.
I've been hunting for a small black square table for my kitchen for almost two years now! I've put a kibosh on that, instead I'm going to paint my old round one a daring color!! I am pretty excited because I think it will make a notable difference.
Do you change your mind like your underwear? I sure do!! Even at a restaurant I let everyone order before me, afraid I might change my mind when I hear what others choose. Yet in other ways I am extremely decisive and know exactly what I love and want! But you can be sure it always has something to do with whimsy and color!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!! Make sure to check out all the other participants!

You are really doing a fantastic job on your chairs. I think they are going to be wonderful when finished. What you've done already is beautiful.

LOVE your colorful chair! Just wonderful! And using your table and painting it a daring color is a fabulous idea - reuse and repurpose with paint! Happy PPF!
Love the way your chair came out. Such vivid colors. I like the way you use so many colors, it just livens everything up. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend.
WOW!!! Now that is a cool chair!

Oh I change my mind rather frequently or my mind changes me ~ The chairs are sooooo wonderful!
love it! thanks ~ namaste, Carol ~ Happy PPF
I love how you've painted this chair! It's like any painting though, it's hard to know when it's finished and when to stop. Quite often I have to stop myself going back to old paintings and changing them. I could go on for ever! Sometimes you just have to let it be and start a new one with your new ideas. :) xx
I am so lovely your wonderfully colourful chairs!! I'm excited to see the table - make sure to take some "before" photos.
I love the way you use vibrant colors! I can't wait to see all of your chairs around your "daring" table :)

Nothing wrong with changing your mind ;0) I love how your chairs have turned out. They remind me of the canal boats they have such decorative painted items too. Dxx
