Happy Anniversary Beardo and Cupcake

Digital Colour change and my favourite!! 29 faces #7
I'm subbing in some digtal colour edits for #29faces this
week since I was so disappointed with four  poorly created
faces that I  despise!  A few of these I'm not pleased with
either!  Pretty sure I need face drawing lessons from Denthe!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful Birthday wishes for
Cupcake last week! They were  really appreciated! She was so
overwhelmed by the post that she cried, which is a rarity!
Her plans to go tubing on the mountain are on hold
while she recovers from a nasty virus!
Thanks to those who managed read every
gooey word written! It wasn't expected!!
This is a large canvas that I did years ago for Cupcake! I built my recent banner on the digital changes made from this piece!
Cupcake and Beardo

 True  Valentines

A handsome musician
his Valentine wife
Have enhanced each other
through all the magic
And strife
Halley 29 faces #10
   Singing along, to tunes
In their car
Laughing together,
best friends by far!
  Gord 29 faces #4
Frugal and careful
Watching each dime
To splurge on concerts
For a memory in time!

29 faces Vickie #3
Oprah, Springsteen
McCartney too
many Icons  seen
Both old and new

Digital Colour edit 29 faces  #5
 Cooking, chatting
Time at the beach
They do menial errands
With joy at their reach

Constance 29 faces #2
  They love ice-cream and movies
Good shoes, a nice coat
Silly fun videos
On puppies they can dote

Korine 29 faces #7
 Philanthropic together
They give what they can
The shrewd couponer
And astute handyman

Karn the orginal acrylic 29 faces #6
It’s not diamonds and riches
Or gifts galore
Nor expensive nights out
That they adore

29 faces #9
Finding joy in simplicity
And hope in the yonder!
Is how they keep
Their hearts growing fonder

Digital Colour Edit
 A simple wedding,
A daily hug
A thoughtful gesture
Is how they sustain love

Love the digital colour edit on this guy!! 29 faces #8
 Cupcake and Beardo
You’re such a delight
Happy 8th  Valentines Anniversary!
You might have it right!

Love you both to the moon and back!
Keep doing what you do, it seems to
work wonderfully!
After I was divorced I went to see First wives club
alone.... it was awesome!

Have you ever done anything unexpected
on your own?
Happy Valentines Day to others out there!
To the quirky  loners.....like me!
Always remember you are your own
Valentine first, so treat yourself well!
Celebrate you by having your favorite
meal, buy yourself flowers or a gift you've
been longing for. Don't feel guilty,
you're worth it, and deserve it!
Do something you enjoy,
whether it's creating, seeing a new movie,
having dinner with another loner.
Celebrate the beauty that is YOU!
By loving yourself first!

#2. Of course I'd read every word. I knew they would all be worth reading and they were as they always are!

#3. I love your blog, your parenting, your family stories, and your friendship!

#4 Happy Valentines Day from your California Pal. and Happy Anniversary to the cute young folks!

Oh no, don't despise your work! When one isn't pleased, it means that she has a need to learn more and that will happen with practice, that is creating and creating!

Your style is expressive, your use of colors likewise, be you, nobody else!

Have a sweet Friend's Day (as we say in Finland)

Hello Giggles, Happy Valentine's day!
Your faces are terrific! It's your own style!
Vickie has lovely eyes, Constance - I love her hair, but she looks a bit sad, I wonder why? - and Korine is a very confident lady. Yes, Karn in the first photo - that's a good one.
Can you imagine a picture book with the faces on the right side and a little story (or poem) on the left about their lives?

The banner is great, the poem lovely, and your faces are wonderful! I especially like Constance #2, Korine #7, and Karn #6. You do such fantastic things with color.

Oh Sherrie, although I feel flattered, you really don't need drawing lessons from me! You have your own unique colorful style that's immediately recognizable as YOU, and your words go beautifully with them. And the way you can write poems about the people you love and about life in general is outstanding. Love your faces this week, especially Karn, Constance and Korine. Keep making them so we can keep enjoying them. Hugs, Denise
