Enhanced or not?

As I continue to just play in colour
I'm fascinated how a line here and
there can make such big changes!
I'm also fascinated  how some
 colour changes are so terrific
while  others aren't! Much like
relationships,  colour can be
 enhanced by changes, other
  times it just doesn't work!
I've always said the measure of a
good relationship is whether the
two people are enhanced by each
 other or dragged down!
If a relationship of any kind makes
you a better person then it's worth
a few pains along the way. However
if it's constantly fraught with drama
it's truly  worth letting go!
I've had to do that over the years
and  it can weed out the angst
from your life! I think we owe it to
ourselves to  live a peaceful life!

Have you had to walk away from a
person or situation that just wasn't
serving enough peace in your life?

I love these colors this week. Yes to your question. After years of trying to please everyone except myself I have no problem letting go of people in my life that just cause trouble. This has left me with a group of friends that are excellent people to be around.

Love your artwork. Great experimentation with colour. I agree with your words, too. Why hold on to something that just isn't working. I've have to do that a few times. I'm a much better person for it.

They are all awesome, and I think that we like some day most one and another day another. I have noticed that I prefer now blue color (it is not my favorite generally) and from your great artworks it's my favorite now. Good luck for your color therapy 😃
Happy PPF and upcoming week ❤

Playing with colour and the relationship of one colour to another is certainly fascinating...and could take a lifetime to enjoy exploring...that's true. I love your experiments. Inner peace is worth striving for.

I love your love of colour. I have backed away from 2 friends in particular but they wouldn't let me sever the ties. Maybe they are real friends despite the faults we all have go figure.

Colorful art this week, Sherrie. Sometimes those toxic people are family. Then the only thing to do is to limit the time or visits with them and try to avoid being with them by yourself. Thanks for commenting on my sketch. That is from the story of Mary and Martha.

Those are beautiful and wonderfully coloured flowers! I love them!

I don't invite in people who are negative or drag me down. The older I get, the easier it gets. I so wish I knew this when I was younger. :)

I constantly weed out drama and angst as much as possible, I guess my colorscapes are always changing!

I am sure I have walked away from difficult things but dangit if I can even come up with an example right now! Peace and kindness are best. :)

I really like what you've done with the flowers! A solid space around them while the petal shapes show the background, very cool! My fave is the first one, red and bright orange, so pretty!

It's wonderful to see your colourful art again! :-)
I like the parallel you draw between colour and life/relations.
My husband and I have been talking about traveling to the USA. Not any time soon! I am hoping to meet some of my online acquaintances and think it would be wonderful to meet you as well. I know you are in Canda ;-)
I'm working on an Island at the moment and travel 3 and 1/2 hours three times a week. That's a lot of transport time, but I have some lovely pupils and very nice colleagues!
Hope you are well!?
Happy PPF

It is fun to play, isn't it? :) Color is everything when it comes to art, imo. I'm fiercely drawn to some colors, and want to run and hide from others. haha

These are so much fun! I love the effects you can get with negative space painting. The first one is my favorite. I find that the older I get the less bullshit I'm prepared to take from people, which also makes it easier to walk away if I have to ...

Love all the layers. Great colors, too. :)

First one is definitely my favorite! It took me along time to learn that it's okay to let friends go, that your outgrow each other or change so much the friendship no longer had anything to hang on to. It as a very freeing lesson learned.

I agree with you...we do owe it to ourselves to have a life of peace. It's often difficult to walk away from those tough situations/difficult people, but letting go can truly make a more positive impact on our lives. Thanks for sharing your beautiful colors and words. Happy PPF!

Yes, some colour changes are astoundingly good and others are just bleh, it's always fun to see yours. It also depends on the design sometimes.
As for "letting people go" I would give them every chance but then there come the time......when it is time to go.
