Sunday Scribbling prompt for this week is " Decision"
My Daughters partner
My Boy too!
My Boy too!
Oh joy is the boy who lives in my home
A kind young man, a king in training
A Compassionate attentive soul
With a fine wit, a remarkable mind
He’s a creatively driven music man
The artist with concealed treasures
Far beyond the eyes measure
Amazing traits and talents
Humble in his value and ability
His smile is magically infectious
Authentic and alluring
His heart is truly abundant
In optimism, faith and love
In a pure everyday way
A gentle spirit who astounds me
Inspires me, fills me with pride
Because I made the right
Decision to give him refuge
Kiss his wounds with my heart
And love him like my own!

Taking this sweet boy into my home during some very trying times was a wonderful decision! He’s twenty two today, a kind and loving friend to me, a joy to have around, immensely helpful and respectful! Bryan has such impeccable manners which can be attributed to his lovely mother!
My mom passed away sixteen years ago yesterday. One of the best decisions I made was being at her bedside the full three months while she was in palliative care. The days were long and grueling, but it was a blessing to have those last moments.
Another good decision was divorcing my husband of twenty three years, eleven years ago! I never missed him one day, I have never looked back
Choosing not to take retribution with those who persecuted me has been an insightful decision. There are no winners in a game of warfare!

Happy Birthday Bryan!!
I am glad you were there for your mum Sherrie. I always worry about mine, living in this country.
I divorced my husband of 20 years, um 8 years ago? I love him, but I'm not IN love with him..no regrets either!!
I choose to walk away..peace..
In the game of love, there should always be two winners.
In the game of revenge, there are no winners, ever.
Peace n hugs, Kai xx
Happy Birthday to Bryan!
It sounds like it's a match made in heaven all the way around! A loving, rounded out household.
The warfare I was subjected within my family has resulted in me completely leaving the battlefield.....I don't feel like I'm a winner...only more peaceful.
XOXOXO
Love,
Lisa

All good decisions. Good to see you in a happy place.
Haappy Birthday Bryan! I love all of his wonderful qualities. How lucky for Pepper and you to have found such a wonderful young man. How lucky for Bryan to have a loving adopted family. Your decisions were all excellent and I'm sure due to your intuitive keen sensitive personality.
So sorry about your mom Sher. I don't think we ever discussed her illness or death. xox
Sounds like you have made some wise decisions Sherrie ....all on the side of LOVE and not war.
