Sunday Scribblings "Curves"

Sunday Scribblings prompt this week is "Curves"
I couldn't help posting this comical image!

Many Curves

Curves, I had many in the edifice of my youth

Hoots and hollers have now ceased

As the dimples set into crevices of comfort

Cushions for my callused caution

Cavalier youthful conduct

Rendered mistakes, and misgivings

The learning curves cordoned me

Back to scruples and safety

My curved course carried me

Out of the realm of that youthful dream

Propelled into the unexpected

A world with unimagined certitude

Here I am in my menses slowing hours

Immersed in an artistic caldron of magic

Submerged in discovery, void of my youth

Awakened to new creative curves

I love the "creative curves" at the end. The pic, ok, is just a hoot!

love the pic - fun!!! - our curves seem to come and go paralleling life - not such a terrible thing when you think of lives well lived and well loved ---

I enjoyed your journey of curves Sherrie. :) I especially loved your illustration! If I could only embrace gravity as gracefully. ;)
