1977 silver Corvette,
A stacked pyramid perm
Purple bows in my hair
Plethora of bright colored clothes
Fuzzy pink seat covers
Never unnoticed
A million days have passed
Sinking into the background
With Black dresses
Excess pounds
A bold piece of jewelry
A few fake
Colored hair extension
Reminding me
Of another time
And who I used to be!

What a fabulous poem. Great 3WW! The words seem made for each other.
OMG....can I ever relate to this post! Sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder who the hell I am now! I think you and I were much the same as younger women. Your description sounded like me!
I think I saw you!
My daughter has had a thing for those cars since she was little. hope one drives your way soon.
You are still who You used to be Sherrie... You're just able to express her
