Yesterday Chris and I saw Mama Mia for her 50th birthday! Upon first hearing of this movie I wasn't in any rush to see it. Soon I read woman swooning over it, viewing it five and six times! Well, let me tell you, I wasn't one bit disappointed. It's my NEW FAVORITE MOVIE! I cried from start to finish! Nothing can make me cry like that except a good church choir! It was riveting with emotional innuendo, comedy, and fun!! It was fast, joyful, with a great story line! More producers should speak to the needs of the middle aged female movie goer! Another hit for Rita and Tom Hanks! I hope they scoop every award possible for my New favorite movie...I will own this one for sure!! I'm curious whether I'll cry through it again!

The Movie

I finally broke down and watched it last week with a friend who's ABBA crazy! I didn't think Pierce Brosnan could sing well, but Meryl Streep surprised me. I loved the movie! I might even go see it again.
I loved it. I've seen 3 times already. even if they didn't sing that well. they were having fun and the songs were sure famlliar. I loved it...
I've definitely got this one on my list to see. I wasn't too excited about it until I began reading all the rave reviews by bloggers. Maybe one afternoon this week I'll sneak out to see it!
I am going to have to break down and see it. Queen-size funny bone loved it, too. I still think the casting's a disaster, but I'm going to have to give it the benefit of the doubt.
