Sunday Scribblings Poetry

Sunday Scribblings this week is " Poem"

Pepper and I with two of my oldest, and dearest friends on the beach

in White Rock B.C. enjoying a few giggles over my street diving, while sharing

a large family size box of fish and chips!

Aunties of persuasion

Took the heart of child

Long ago

Women in kind

Of immeasurable

Soul

Ingrained in her

Memories

And joy

Through sorrow

And bliss

It would

Be remiss

Not to mention

The love

They’ve shared

Her life in accord

Married adult

Autonomous

Ladies entwine

Young woman

Admires

Sacrificed years

Hardships defeated

With strength

Honorable mothers

Of high dimension

She emulates

Convictions

Noble in length

All Sunset photos by Pepper
