Sunday Scribblings " Extreme"

This blog header was created for my precious blog buddy Lucy as a belated Christmas gift! We share a love of extreme color! Non bloggers are often perplexed at these dear bonds we have online. Amazed that we can receive gifts across the country from people they perceive to be strangers!  Some blog posts can more intimate than conversations with close friends or family. Unedited we say what we please! It’s the reader’s prerogative to ingest our words and art, or pass us by!

Exuding unspoken thoughts to paper can be so cathartic. Sincere feedback can fuel continued posts and guilt us out during blogging lulls. Connecting with endearing folks who brave a peak into my world is such a gift!   I feel extremely blessed with my online friends, especially when loved ones are too busy to stop by with any regularity. Understandably life can be demanding, I don’t always comment either. Be assured I have read your blog on google reader in a frenzied passion to catch up!!

I leave you with a print I received as a gift for which I am extremely grateful, from my wonderful artist friend Donna Childree Gotlib  who resides in Ann Arbor…. A Brain Zap called  “Gotta Dance” Check out her Brain zaps for sale here on etsy!

Giggles,
To say nothing of the talent floating around there in the ether.
Glad to see that you're doing what you do best: making people happy!

Me? I just wake 'em up and send 'em home. ;)

How cool. There are indeed many wonderful folks out here. There are some that aren't too. I'm glad I hang around the nice ones.

Have a terrific day. :)

You are indeed a kindred spirit. You use of color and naive subjects are delightful. I was bowled over by your new banner art, and then I spied your city of hope! Your artwork is always so jubilant. whenever I need a smile, I come straight to your blog!

As always, I'm a day late but I love visiting your blog. I'm always assured of some bright, cheerful color and some words that make me think.

Love the header you did for your friend as well as your own. And that painting is awesome.

Yay! That's a great post and so true. When I started blogging it never occurred to me I would find such wonderful friends who I'll probably never meet dotted around the globe yet on the same wave length as me. What wonderful connections blogging brings and funny how these strangers follow your posts and share your thoughts far more than friends and family who, although they know of my blog's existence rarely visit. Perhaps you have to be a blogger to want to visit? Anyway, glad I found your post via Sunday Scribblings. :)

We are all so very fortunate to have one another. The banner is gorgeous! What you did not share is that a beautiful angel appeared on my doorstep. She rides on my shoulder and keeps me safe these days - my first holiday without my Mother. What a wonderful dear friend I found in you.

Hugs and love,
Donna

Dear Giggles, I like Lucy and you cherish the friendships I have made in my blog. I know what you mean and you are right, we do have the choice in here to read or bypass each other according to our interests, cool that some we choose not to eh!
