Icad 26  "Time for a Change!"
Pretty glad June is over.
It wasn't our best month this year
that's for sure! Thank you for all the love last week! I
appreciate every kind, loving comment so much!  I'm
grateful to be back eating my daily salads and trying
to stay hydrated as the weather has taken a bit of
a warm turn.
icad 27 Please rebel now, take action for love!
If only everyone was as kind and wonderful as our
Paint Party pals are! If only kindness could daily trump
some of the sadness in the world. I'm grateful it happens
in my little world. I wish that for others too!
I'm not very prolific this week....I think I'm pooped out!
I did have the most lovely visit from a friend on Monday
She brought lunch, and goodies for me and the kids!
What would we do without good friends?
Daily  Cupcake and Beardo say in unison,
" Money comes easily and frequently"
Seriously wonderful things transpire from this little routine,
along with being generous and kind themselves!
Moving from a large home to a Vancouver city center apartment,
for a huge lifestyle change that no longer includes bread making!
My friend brought Cupcake a wonderful slightly used bread maker!

Sunday the kids bought  all the fixing to make dinner for
all the family at Beardos parents house! Something his mom
does weekly so all of her ten children can drop by with
their families for an impromptu Sunday dinners!
Icad 30 Endless love Motherhood!
The parents were so surprised and thanked them profusely. I think
they secretly wish more of their children would do the same! Cupcake
and Beardo rarely come empty handed. Always bringing
something to share. Only a few of them do!
Icad 29 Very Casual with heart!
A good heart with good intentions always seem to be rewarded!
Hence a new bread maker they didn't even know they wanted!!
With a handsome set of bread knives!
First loaf of Yummy bread out of the bread maker...
Although we rarely eat white bread those are the
ingredients we had. Cupcake feels really inspired to
try different types of healthier breads in the near  future!!

  Icad 28 Covet Simple Embellishment!
Creativity comes into our life in so many unexpected ways.
A new bread maker, winning a go-pro, needing to find
a solution for an allergy to lip balm, an egg allergy forcing us
to find new recipes, inheriting a new instrument. A need to
decorate, plant garden pots, upcyle a rug, find matching
shoes, make a theme cake and pastries. All around us
are ways to let the creative energy out!
Best of all I am so proud to live in a country where
all of that is possible. A place where if I choose I can
write controversial poetry, make controversial art,
and say what I want,  because I'm free!
July 1st is Canada Day
Canadas 149th Birthday

A prouder Canadian  I could not be
I wave the flag  in front of me
A liberal land freely diverse
Varied languages to converse
Countless cultures of every race
Amicably exist in once place

by Happytiler

Wishing all my Canadian friends a Happy Canada Day
and my American Friends a Happy 4th of July!
What way  does creativity seep into
your life unexpectedly?

Happy Canada day! Glad you are feeling better. I have only visited Canada once but I really enjoyed it. I didn't go out to the wild parts just torronto and niagra. There are so many sides to your beautiful country you have every reason to be proud.!

Wishing you the happiest of Canada Days! I missed most of PPF last week because just as soon as I'd added my link we had a power cut which lasted most of the morning (which was even more annoying as it meant I couldn't get online to find out what the hell the UK was thinking voting to leave the EU!!) Anyway, I've noticed that PPF hasn't updated for this week so I'm just going through visiting everyone on last week's link but going to the most recent post. I'm so sorry to hear you were so unwell last week - I hope that you're feeling back to normal now. I love Cupcake and Beardo's attitude to everything - they certainly seem to understand the universe and the whole law of attraction and it clearly works for them as they give so much loveliness back out into the world.
The loaf looks awesome - what a lovely gift. Wishing you a great weekend celebrating all that makes your country great (while we look on in shock as ours continues to fall apart under poor (and currently, no) leadership!

Happy Canada Day! Love the beautiful colors in your paintings this week. I first thought that said endless love brotherhood, which is so lacking in this world. But endless love motherhood is correct too. I used to make the most delicious bread in my bread machine. I haven't used it in years.

Happy Birthday Canada! It sounds like you've had a lot of changes lately, but they seem like marvelous challenges for you to explore your creativity. Happy PPF, my dear friend!

I'm not sure if my first comment went through, so I'm trying it again. Anyway, it sounds like you've had a lot of changes lately, but I like your attitude about how they are challenging you to use your creativity. Happy Canadian Birthday, as well as a happy PPF!

Happy Canada Day to me and you! And Happy PPF! I love the jewel tones in your art pieces and the creative, artsy faces. I really like how you used colours to convey lights and shadows on the faces.

Your header makes me smile. Many of those dog faces have lived with me through the years. With all the turmoil round the world, Canada has become our favorite place to visit, Lake Muskoka, Ontario last week, Montreal and Quebec City and Victoria, B.C. last summer and the Maritimes next year. So happy Canada Day, I am sorry to have missed it. Icad 26 is gorgeous! You always use such vibrant color, beautiful to me. Happy PPF

Happy Canada Day!!! I always think of Canada as a great place to live, even if the closest I've gotten was Niagra Falls as a young little girl. Your post shows your love for your home Country and that is wonderful! Hopefully other Countries could use Canada as an example. All of your art is beautiful. I love the colors you choose. Have a great week and thank you for sharing! Hugs, Rasz

Lots of doggies appearing at the top, a fun header, and they all look friendly.
We were given a bread maker some months back, which we did NOT want, but I gave it a go, and now we make all our bread using it, it makes fabulous loaves. Glad you are enjoying yours too.
Your Icads go from strength to strength, this week I especially like number 30, so beautiful in colours and subject.
Happy Canada Year! (as I've missed Canada Day).

Life has been rather busy with major changes being made to our house in the kitchen and bathroom and lots of other events besides! I've missed your colourful and wise blog posts, so it's lovely to re-connect. Your art is always so warm and honest - just like you. I'm so glad dear Cupcake was rewarded with the bread-maker and I hope she has lots of fun with it. xxx

Love your colourful icads! And you're right to be proud of your country, Canada can serve as an example for many of us. Just the other day I read about all the Canadians wanting to welcome Syrian refugees, and how they are welcomed in communities to help with their integration. What a difference with a lot of other countries... So just continue to be proud, and have a wonderful week!

I celebrate with you! My roots come from the lovely country of Canada but from Alberta. Even though you had a quiet week artistically you still did plenty! I love the part in your week when you visit family and share food! Ten kids makes for a lot of food!
We are a blessed bunch of people to have a window into each others lives this way!!

Somehow I missed these Giggles. Naughty me. But I love all your cards. They are always so bright and cheery. And I've always wondered and wanted a bread maker. The loaf looks so yummy. How nice of you to get what them what they didn't think they wanted. Ha-ha. So is Canada day as big deal like July 4th is here. I live so close to Canada (about a 4-5 hour drive) but we don't hear much about it. Hope it was a good one if you do celebrate. Hugs-Erika
